In today’s fast moving lifestyle, digestive issues have become very common. As an Ayurvedic Nutritionist, many patients come to me with complaints of acidity, gas, bloating, indigestion and heaviness after meals. Some of the major reasons behind these issues are irregular eating habits, stress, junk food and lack of physical activity. In Ayurveda, digestion (Pachak Agni/ Jathar Agni) is considered the basic foundation of overall health. When digestion is strong, the body functions properly but when digestion is weak, toxins start building up and lead to many diseases. One of the most trusted Ayurvedic remedies for digestive problems is Shankh Vati.
