JAIPUR: The ayurveda Hospital will get new look in the state
The Health Deptt. has apportioned budget for the improvement of ayurveda hospital facilities over the state. The state govt. has distinguished 74 such hospital facilities which require improvement as they are lying in a shambles. A health deptt. authority said that the state govt. has assigned Rs 15 lakh for each of the 74 ayurveda hospital.
An aggregate of Rs 1.07 Cr will be spent on the improvement of these hospital . Additionally, ayurveda research centers in Ajmer and Udaipur will get separate budget for enhancing their facilities. The govt. drug testing lab in Ajmer will get Rs 70 lakh for repair works and getting new equipment. The Udaipur’s University of ayurveda will get Rs 1.5 crore for research works in ayurveda.
Health Minister Rajendra Rathore has guided the authorities to give ayurveda the abundantly required help by enhancing facilities in ayurveda hospital and labs.
Government has made proposal of worth Rs100 crore for the financial year 2016-17 for AYUSH, which likewise incorporates ayurveda.
The health deptt. has likewise guided the authorities to increase the funds three times for medicines in AYUSH (ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha and homeopathy).
