Fifty-seven cases new cases registered on Friday in the country, raising coronavirus patients to 258. Now, death in Italy has reached four thousand, which is the highest for any country. 250,000 cases are positive in the world. Here is a glimpse of the novel coronavirus in the world.
Lockdown Ordered
The government of West Bengal and Odisha has ordered a shutdown of pubs, restaurants, museums, zoos, and other public places till March 31. It is because of the coronavirus pandemic. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik ordered to lockdown different districts from the starting week.
Stay safe at home, says PM Modi
Prime minister Narendra Modi requested people to avoid travel and stay at home unless it is necessary. PM Modi requested to people to listen the advice. Home-quarantine is advised to people. PM Modi said, “Our small steps will create a big impact on the society”.
Iran Death
Iran has reported to 123 death of coronavirus patients, the toll rising to 1550+. Health officials also stated the total number of infected people to 20,610.
The Quarantine-sealed couple from Delhi deboarded from Rajdhani
A couple from Delhi boarded the Rajdhani at Secunderabad. After the arrival of the train in Telangana at 9.45 am, co-passengers noticed the quarantine mark at travelers’ hands. The husband-wife duo both had the quarantine seal at their hands. Co-passengers informed TTE. The coach was sanitized. Social distancing is also advised to people.
SBI Plans for Corona-infected Borrowers
State Bank of India, SBI, the country’s largest bank, has offered a scheme to fund business owners whose organizations are impacted by coronaviruses. CECL or Covid-19 Emergency Credit Line is equivalent to the working capital limit.
FIR against ‘Jagran’ in Himachal Pradesh
An FIR has been reported against a man for organizing a ‘Jagran’. The violation of Section 144 of CrPC is imposed, for the novel COVID virus outbreak in the country. HP has also reported two cases of it.
Bollywood is Online
Maybe the novel coronavirus has halted the work in the Bollywood industry but the celebrities have been trying to influence people to practice yoga and try to avoid public places. Movies shooting, TV shows, and web series have been suspended till March 31. Even, artists are encouraged to send tapes from their homes.

Govt. has fixed the price of sanitizer (200 ml) at Rs. 100 till June. The decision is taken amid the coronavirus outbreak. Similarly, the price of surgical masks is fixed at Rs. 8. The price of a three-ply mask is fixed at Rs. 10. The above prices are fixed until June 30.
Air India to Take Initiative
Air India has sent aircraft to fetch stranded Indians in Rome. National carrier Air India has decided to send a 787 Dreamliner aircraft to evacuate trapped Indians amid the coronavirus. The Centre has taken a decision not to allow international flights for one week.
Issued advisory for distressed Indians
An advisory has been issued by the Indian embassy to Indians who want to come back home. The embassy issued a list of advisory and also suggested emergency helpline numbers for distressed Indians.
11 new cases in Maharashtra
The total number of coronavirus patients is now sixty-three in Maharashtra as eleven more cases have been found. Ten new cases are in Mumbai while one is in Pune. A Covid-19 patient also died in Mumbai.
Rs. 1,000 has to be transferred in laborers’ account in UP
Twenty-three people have been tested to be infected with the coronavirus. Among all cases, only nine people have recovered from the condition. The chief minister has decided to provide Rs.1000 through DBT to more than twenty lakh laborers, including thela and rickshaw workers. The metro and bus services have been closed on Sunday. People who don’t have ration cards can take it on priority as they can get free twenty kg of wheat and fifteen kg of rice through the government.
Twelve Positive Cases in Kerala
The twelve positive coronavirus cases are positive until now in Kerala. The total number of cases has reached forty in which three patients have been discharged.
More than Fifty Test Positive
The state authorities have reported fifty-seven new cases amid the outbreak of coronavirus and fifty more by the health ministry, leading to the highest in a day.
